Tasty food

Friendly staff

Comfortable room

Delicious breakfast

Pros

The multi-award-winning restaurant has held an AA Rosette for nine consecutive years.

The building's historic features, including its Delabole slate floors and mounting block, add unique character.

Spacious accommodations include options like the Courtroom Suite, which features a large lounge and bathroom.

Located within 10 minutes' drive of Bodmin General and close to major Cornish attractions.

Cons

Some rooms have bathrooms with shower-over-bath configurations, which may not suit all guests.

The rural setting requires a car for convenient access to nearby towns and attractions.

“Trehellas House impresses with its friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and the restaurant's commitment to excellent food and service; the building itself has character, and the location provides quiet views, though some may find the decor a little dated. It's a solid choice for those seeking a restful, dog-friendly base outside Bodmin town center. Overall, this place has a good feel.”
